Translation Notes:

These are my translations of the Japanese manga, Wedding Peach.  As with any translation, many expressions and words can be translated in multiple ways, and a single, direct translation can often prove to be difficult, due to cultural differences, puns which just don't come across in other languages, and the sheer variety of ways to say the same thing.

These translations are based on my admittedly imperfect understanding of Japanese and are not to be taken as the unshakable truth.  As I do not know everything there is to know about Japanese, please let me know if you hind a translation that is incorrect (ie. I've listed a completely different meaning for the word or if I've missed a pun/wordplay, etc.).

I have only translated speech and thought.  Sound effects, etc., have not been translated, as they are not only more difficult to translate, but they are also fairly obvious as to their meaning in many cases.  Plus, I'm not about to fiddle around with the scans to subtitle them.  =P

Japanese names are left in traditional Japanes order:  family name first, personal name last.

And last, but not least, please don't use these scans or translations without my permission!  It takes me a lot of time and care to not only translate, but also to subtitle and scan in the manga images.  (Not to mention the time it takes me to bug Katchan when I'm stuck.  ^_-)  If anything from this page is used without permission (I have spies everywhere, didn't you know?  ^_-) these pages will disappear faster than you can say "Oiro Naoshi."

Now, with that out of the way, onto the manga!

The translations come in two versions:  Text-only, for those who either own the manga already or for those whod on't feel like waiting for the scans to load, and Subtitled manga pages, scanned in and subtitled a la Photoshop.
It's your choice--click at will!

As always, comments and suggestions are very welcome.  I'd especially like to know if you find these translations worthwhile, as well as which version is better for you (text or subtitled image).

I hope you've enjoyed your look at the Wedding Peach manga.  I'll be updating this page as often as I can so keep checking back for updates!  If you'd like to be advised of updates as they occur, email me and I'll put you on the update list.  You can also check the main updates page for notices.

Cheers,

Kiku
